The Yemeni Information and Communications Technology Syndicate was established in the Capital Secretariat, Sanaa, in September 2009, according to the constitution and in accordance with the Law on Trade Unions and Trade Unions. It is considered a democratic trade union organization with a legal personality and independent financial edema and it is the legal and official representative of its members before the official and popular bodies and bodies.

  • Contribute to raising the level of engineering, technical, and technological education in the academic, training, and professional fields in order to achieve compatibility between education outcomes and the requirements of the crowd market. Members ’efforts to work to establish and protect the foundations of true democratic practice in society and work to provide basic guarantees for the exercise of their professional, political and social rights.
  • Contribute with the competent authorities to upgrade the level of technology cadres to raise its economy and the safety of implementing comprehensive development projects in all fields
Mission

Mission

  • Raise the scientific, technical, cultural, social and technological level of members and develop their professional level by organizing scientific and cultural seminars and conferences, encouraging technological research and its development, and issuing and providing magazines, bulletins, specialized books and qualifying and training courses internally and externally.
  • Contribute to developing technological curricula for technical and vocational colleges and institutes according to the conditions and characteristics of Yemeni society and to serve the requirements of economic and social development plans.
  • Effective participation in crystallizing and issuing technological specifications and standards systems and working to implement them in a manner that is appropriate to the Yemeni reality, organizing internet services and wireless networks, documenting, organizing and recording its demise in the technological work profession and providing technical services.
  • Paying attention to technical and technological security issues and technological and occupational safety and security systems.
  • Closer links and coordination with other professional and creative unions and federations at home and abroad with the aim of expanding popular participation to protect the social gains of the Yemeni revolution and work to materialize its practical role in achieving their career goals and closer links and cooperation relations and exchange of experiences with Arab and international technological bodies and work to increase the effectiveness of the union in Its activity with Arab, international and international federations.

  • Cooperating with all civil society organizations and official bodies in achieving development projects to contribute to reducing poverty and working to raise the standard of living for society.
  • Communicating and coordinating with the Ministry of Communications, the General Corporation and all relevant private communication sectors in order to provide services, improve and develop the service provided to all wireless Internet and fiber optic subscribers and data transmission.
  • Establishing cultural, sports and recreational activities for all members, which makes them always active and vital.
  • Establish a team for the organization, installation, and legal consulting processes in organizing the work of wireless Internet networks with terms and specifications for organizational standards, and provide awareness and qualification sessions on the maintenance of devices and equipment.
  • Responding to anyone who fears, fools, or practices subversive work, espionage, or illegal hacking according to the conditions in force from the union, imposing penalties, penalties, fines, and the defense of intellectual property rights.

It aims to devote and activate policies, and achieve social, economic and technological benefits for Yemeni society through the use of technology within the policies of economic diversification and In order to achieve these goals, the union will adopt the following policies:

  • Taking the necessary measures to achieve cooperation and coordination between the units of the state’s administrative apparatus and the private sector, and the union with regard to information technology projects and in the interest of citizens and investors.
  • Implementing the infrastructure for e-government projects and supervising the implementation of information technology projects in all units of the states administrative apparatus and related electronic services.
  • Prepare and prepare the regulations and controls necessary for the implementation of laws by units of the state administrative apparatus to meet the requirements of the digital community and achieve integration between these units for the purpose of providing electronic services.
  • Seek to issue laws and procedures to protect systems in the event of unexpected events and monitor their implementation.
  • Begin to develop and implement information technology awareness programs to ensure the promotion of the use of e-government services.
  • Providing consulting and accompanying services to the units of the state’s administrative apparatus in the field of information technology.
  • Establishing controls to preserve information, ensure confidentiality, and related procedures.
  • Designing and developing appropriate organizational procedures and controls in the field of information technology to ensure their implementation by units of the state’s administrative apparatus.
  • Projects related to human resources and training employees in the field of information technology in order to develop their skills and competencies.
